Pre wedding shoots: Battersea Park 28th March 2010

I don't often get the chance to blog my pre wedding shoots so I thought I would! I have a few weddings coming up where I will need to travel the night before to get to the wedding venue - so meeting the couples at their wedding venues for a pre wedding shoot would be a little tricky. This Sunday I met two couples back to back at Battersea Park in London. Both couples were rather nervous about having their photographs taken to start with but after a while started to really enjoy the photo session. One couple have already been in touch and said: "THANK YOU!! We're so glad we did it as we feel far more comfortable now. I love the pics!" It is really lovely to get to know a couple better before their big day & see how they feel in front of the camera. Here are some of my favourites from the shoots - Look out for their weddings which will be on the blog a few days after their big day! x

Gemma & Dave: Mary Magdalene, Littleton & York House Twickenham 27th March 2010

Gemma got ready at her parents house with her bridesmaids. The colour theme of the wedding was hot pink - The bridesmaids dresses were both different & equally fab & the groomsmen all had hot pink socks on! The wedding ceremony took place at the quaint Mary Magdalene Church in Littleton. Then the bride & groom with their guests took the routemaster bus on to York House in Twickenham. The showers stopped & started but we were lucky to get everyone outside for group shots & take advantage of the York house backdrop & gardens. Gemma & Dave had planned great details - The grooms shoes were AMAZing! The mini cupcakes with hand painted butterflies were super tasty & the mini ice creams were BRILLiant! It was a fab day and here are some of my favourites so far... Click on any image to make it bigger. Congrats guys & see you soon! x

Lino & Maria: Our Lady of the Rosary Church & Denbies Wine Estate 20th March 2010

Maria got ready at her father's home with her bridesmaids and then took a beautiful car to Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sutton. The ceremony was really lovely & it was fab to see a couple so in love & giggly throughout. The wedding party braved the rain to throw confetti at the couple and then headed to Denbies Wine Estate. A corridor of candles met the guests - after the time for photos the guests had a four course meal & was entertained by a great singer. The speeches were very emotional & funny and even I shed a tear! Both said to me at different times during the day that it was amazing to 'marry my best friend' :) Here is a preview of some of the shots from the day x
