Christina & Edward: Shrewsbury Cathedral & Rowton Castle 24th April 2010

Christina & Ed started their wedding weekend celebrations with drinks on the Friday night with friends and family at a family friends beautiful home. Then on the Saturday morning the bride, her family & beautiful bridesmaids got ready in a fab barn a few miles out of the centre of Shrewsbury. Isabella the young flower girl looked just lovely in her ivory dress and butterfly aliceband - before the entrance of the church she was so super excited! The cathedral was beautiful and the ceremony personal & touching. The wedding party then made their way to Rowton Castle for reception drinks & canapes. The grounds were lovely for photograph opportunities and we were lucky enough to have the sun shine all afternoon and get some fab couple & group shots. The couple invited their guests to sign a mounted picture as a 'guest book' that I had taken at the pre wedding shoot too! x There were so many pics I am excited about sharing - but here is a few as a sneak peak so far!...Enjoy married life - Congrats guys!!

Gemma & Ed: Woodborough Hall, Nottingham 10th April 2010

Gemma & Ed got married at a beautiful church in Gedling, Nottingham. With one of the first sunny weddings of 2010 it really felt like a summer wedding! The guests mingled outside the church and I got some lovely shots of couples & the children waiting. The bridesmaids arrived in style followed by Gemma and her very proud Father. Inside the church the light poured in through the large windows and was great for some lovely ceremony shots. The couple were absolutely showered with confetti by their guests outside the church and finally escaped in the car! They made their way to the very pretty Woodborough Hall. Gemma and Ed had asked for lots of natural shots of them chatting to guests and to be very relaxed with the photography - it was fab to capture their reception as it happened and also get a few lovely shots them both too. A really great day - and here's a sneaky peak of some of my favourites! x Enjoy married life Gemma & Ed! x
