Some new pre wedding shoot examples for Summer 2010! Bring on the summer weddings!

Now as you know I often do a pre wedding shoot with a couple before the big day - a chance for me to get to know both the couple and the wedding venue. As summer season now really is in full swing I have no free weekends until about October! - So all pre shoots tend to happen mid week or in the evenings after work in the late summer sunshine.

Often at a pre wedding shoot the couple have not yet explored all of the venue and it gives them a chance to have a wonder around and check out where photos could be done on the day.  Sometimes, what us photographers see as great backgrounds the couple would not even have looked at! After emailing the above couple with some previews from their shoot I got this reply: "We absolutely love them all!! Really like what you've done with the words! Love the ones where you've got more than one pic on there - so interesting and would look great in an album - particularly the blurry one and the three in a row with me looking in different directions. Realise now why it's so important to have a mixture of 'serious' and funny ones!"

Having a pre wedding shoot allows a couple to have a 'practice' of having their picture taken, how I might ask them to pose and see the potential of how we can use the building's features. It gives me a chance to discuss ideas and see how the couple feel about their wedding photography and how 'funky' they want it to be!

The last thing I ever want is a couple to be worried about 'the photo bit' on the day - You want to be relaxed and enjoying it. The photos will last forever and should be a fun and fab experience! x Hope you enjoy the sneak peak at these pre wedding shoots - Look out for their actual weddings in the next few weeks!
